„Expiry-Date” was ist denn das fuer ein komischer Header, den hab ich ja noch nie gesehen. Ob der mal wieder von Outlool stammt?

/me begibt sich auf die RFC-Suche. Nach kurzem Stoebern werde ich auch schon fuendig. Im Request for Comments #2156 mit dem Titel „MIXER (Mime Internet X.400 Enhanced Relay): Mapping between X.400 and RFC 822/MIME” fand ich folgenden Text:
IPMS.Heading.expiry-time
Mapped to the extended RFC 822 field „Expires:”. The replaces the
RFC 1327 field „Expiry-Date:”. Reverse mapping of the RFC 1327
field may be supported.
Und in RFC 2076 fand sich die Info:
 Time at which a message loses its    Expiry-Date:   RFC 1327, not for
validity. This field may in the general usage.
future be replaced by "Expires:".
Dieser Dillo von Spammer hat es also nicht nur geschafft, einen ungueltigen Mail-Header aus einer RFC ueber die Konvertierung von X.400 nach RFC 822/MIME in eine Mail einzubauen, er war nicht einmal in der Lage, der Variablen einen korrekten Wert zu geben. Stattdessen schrieb er einfach „never” hin.

Der Typ koennte IMHO glatt fuer das Outlool-Team in Redmond arbeiten.

wobei ich noch nie etwas von einem charset „iso-5240-3” gehoert habe. Aber vielleicht kommt das ja bei der IBM 5240 „Convertible” zum Einsatz. Als ISO-Norm gibts unter der Nummer nur „Textile machinery and accessories – Warp creels [Spulengatter, Anm. des Autors] – Main dimensions”.

Oder er arbeitet schon fuer Microsoft und ist im Longhorn-Team und weiss schon von einer Codepage, von der wir noch nix wissen. :D
