Geschenktipps für Geeks
Jedes Jahr, so um diese Zeit, kommen die Listen mit „den besten Geschenke für Computerfreaks”, „die besten Computer-Gimmicks”, etc. Mit dabei sind die üblichen USB-Gimmicks wie Tassenwärmer, usw.
ZDNet aus den USA hat den Spieß nun einmal umgedreht und die „Holiday tech gifts we don’t recommend” zusammengestellt. Meine Freude war groß über den Platz Zwei dieser Liste:
Zu der Begründung:
Let’s face it. Anyone who actually wanted Vista already has it; the system’s been out for almost a full year now. The folks who don’t have it are either Mac or Linux users, or holdouts who’ve heard about the well-documented bugs in the system.
Moreover, operating systems are a total yawn. Who wants to get one of these as a holiday gift, anyway?
