Kein Kaffee für Leoparden
The Register hat einen sehr sarkastischen Artikel zum Thema „Java 6 auf Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) veröffentlicht, in dem sie sehr harsch mit Apple ins Gericht gehen.
Laut The Register bietet Apple trotz früherer „Versprechen” kein Java 6 für Leopard an und und hat auch keinen Plan für etwaige Releases bekannt gegeben. Und das von einem Unternehmen, das einmal geschrieben hat:
Java hat sich als De-facto-Standardsprache für die Entwicklung plattformübergreifender Programme etabliert. Angesichts dieser Tatsache hat Apple Java zu einer Kernkomponente von Mac OS X gemacht.
Warum bietet eigentlich Sun kein Java für den Mac an?

Hat ja ein paar Vorfälle in letzter Zeit gegeben welche Apple geschadet haben... aber die müssen halt wieder ein wenig runter von ihrem hohen Ross und auf die User hören.
