UKs Channel 4 has this new IT-based Sitcom „The IT Crowd”. Hillarious! Two IT geeks in the basement of a large, abusive corporation get a new boss, a woman who lied about her IT experience on her resume. If you work in IT, you HAVE to watch it.

Hard Drive Dying Dance Track Winner

This is where I try to sum up the current state-of-the-art in graphic design for web pages, and identify the distinctive features that make a web page look fresh, appealing and easy to use.

Web Design from Scratch
Splunk uses powerful algorithms to automatically organize any type of IT data into events. It then classifies these events and discovers relationships between events of different kinds. Events are indexed by time, terms and relationships.
There is a free Splunk Server for up to 500 MB of data, a commercial version, a knowledge base and plug-in infrastrukture. They also offer a Demo-Videos and a tour.
