Live is live

Laut der New York Times wird Microsoft diese Woche ein Programm kostenlos zum Download anbieten, über welches verschiedene Windows Live Services „installiert” werden sollen. Vergleiche mit Google Pack. Mit dem „Installer” will Microsoft, so der NYT Artikel, die Anwender von Hotmail und Messenger dazu bringen, auch andere „Live” Dienste auszuprobieren.

Zu den „installierten” Programmen gehören Windows Live Messenger 8.5, Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Photo Gallery und Windows Live OneCare Family Safety.

Microsoft hat noch viel mehr im Angebot. Ich bin gespannt, ob und wann Redmond endlich mal die Live-„Strategie” erklärt. Hier ein kleiner Überblick über die Windows Live services (das dauert länger, also wollt ihr im Hintergrund ev. Life is Life von Opus laufen lassen):
