In the last few days, I have seen a surge in sporadic SSH scan attempts by a lot of different hosts. Looks like the Script Kiddies wise up and stop trying to bruteforce their way in.
The SANS Internet Storm Center seems to oberserve the same.

Yeah, but this happens not only for ssh - the same applies for XSS hacks against PHP applications.....
