Tkabber: I Do Not Want A German Interface, Thank You!
My preferred Jabber-Client is Tkabber. Unfortunately, if you install the Version 0.11.0 Tkabber-Starpack for Windows 2000/XP/Vista on an austrian Windows Vista machine, you automatically get a german user interface and no way in the UI to change that.
To switch to a UI in another language you have to close TKabber and find the „config.tcl” file, which is (if you are using Windows) located in the %APPDATA% directory of your machine („D:\Users\m3\AppData\Roaming\Tkabber” in my case). In the file, you have to add the line „::msgcat::mclocale en” to switch to an english user interface.
Easy, isn’t it? ;)
