Österreich ohne „Digital Champion”! -- eGovernment am Ende?

Was ist denn so ein „Digital Champion”?

Die European Commission meint dazu:

On 14 February 2012, President Barroso wrote to Member States and asked them to take action to make the Digital Single Market a reality. One way to do this is for each country to appoint a Digital Champion.
Each Digital Champion works with citizens, communities and businesses to exploit the growth potential of the digital economy. They can do this in many ways: by helping individuals to enhance their IT skills, by ensuring that the public sector becomes more efficient and customer-friendly and by helping businesses to embrace new technologies which will allow them to be more productive and competitive at home and across borders.

Schaut man sich aber die Liste der „Digital Champions” an, so findet man keinen Österreicher/keine Österreicherin darunter.

Verliert Österreich womöglich seine vielbeschworene eGovernment Vorreiterrolle? Konzentrieren wir uns lieber auf „Tourism Champions” mit Mozart-Perücke?

Aber nein, noch sind wir den „Cyber-Attacken” nicht schutzlos ausgeliefert! Das IKT-Sicherheitsportal von BMF, BKA und A-SIT wird uns alle retten!

P.S.: Es entbehrt nicht einer gewissen Ironie, dass das österreichische IKT-Sicherheitsportal ein SSL-Zertifkat eines US-Anbieters und nicht das der österreichischen A-Trust verwendet.
