Die Zeiten, wo es für die Funktionen eines PCs - Speicher- oder Festplattengröße, Prozessorgeschwindigkeit und Funktionalität des Bus - neugierige Leser gab, sind vorbei. Heute interessiert nur mehr wie man PCs und Software, Technologie und Infrastruktur einsetzt um Unternehmens- oder Organisations-Ziele zu erreichen.

I could use putty to open some hidden screens, but I don’t like the idea of having several unseen windows pile up in the backgound of my Windows XP, so I keep them visible. To put them to good use, I tail some – for me – important logfiles in those windows.

There is an new entry in his blog, where he describes that his RootkitRevealer found some kind of rootkit on his machine, which turned out to be Sonys DRM-SW.
Very interessting read, another reason for me not to buy un-CDs and once again hats off to Mark, who really knows his stuff!
